Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is assisting a manufacturing client on the outskirts of Dartford seeking an experienced Manufacturing and Maintenance Engineer to support day-to-day plant operations, program machines, validate programs and sustain production.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, maintaining quality and reducing downtime, with 37.5 hours per week, 8am-4pm, and 25 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in day-to-day plant operations and programming of machines.
• Understanding lean manufacturing techniques and ERP/MRP usage.
• Hands-on maintenance with fault diagnosis and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day plant operations and ensure production is fully supported.
• Program machines and validate new/modified programs.
• Maintain equipment operational through first-line maintenance and repairs.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance manufacturing efficiencies.
