Job summary

React Recruitment Ltd is recruiting for a manufacturing client in Rochester, Kent for an experienced Production Manager with a passion for Lean and continuous improvement. You will take ownership of the production process, driving efficiency, quality and cost-effectiveness, while building high-performing, multi-skilled teams and implementing streamlined systems.

You will report to the Managing Director, work core factory hours (35 hours per week) and enjoy benefits including 28 days leave + BH,

Qualifications

• Lean principles applied to streamline production processes.
• Identify operational improvements and monitor effectiveness.
• Lead and coach Production Cell Leads and teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the production process and drive efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead multi-skilled teams and implement streamlined systems.
• Track and report key production metrics to meet output, quality and dispatch targets.
• Maintain high health and safety standards and PPE compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize schedules and resource allocation.
