Job summary

Morrisons is seeking a Line Leader for our abattoir production team. You will oversee a small group in a defined area, driving standards and ensuring consistent delivery. You will provide tools and training to help colleagues follow site processes and ways of working.

You will be involved in machinery operation and setup, batch control and labelling, audits and quality checks, and reporting on production line performance. A proactive, team-focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading small teams in a production setting.
• Background in manufacturing helps with process control and quality checks.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

Working as part of a team, you'll be supportive to colleagues and demonstrate a positive attitude, sharing knowledge and training new team members. Key parts of the role will include machinery operation and set up, batch control and labelling, audits and quality checks, and reporting on performance status of the production line.

More about you

You'll be the kind of person who:

• Is able to support and educate colleagues, and build good working relationships with colleagues, peers and internal customers


• Has previous experience of working in a manufacturing environment


• Can follow written and verbal instructions


• Is happy within a fast paced food manufacturing environment, with varying temperatures


• Is able to work in chilled temperatures and in presence of raw meat
