Job summary

Dunbia Group, based at Dunbia Cross Hands, is seeking an HR Manager to lead both operational and strategic HR for around 750 employees. You will head a team of seven, report to the Site Director, and collaborate with senior management to drive people practices and improvements.

The role requires extensive manufacturing HR experience, a track record of developing teams, and expertise in Employee Relations, data reporting, and employment law.

Qualifications

• Extensive recent experience in a similar HR role within manufacturing.
• Experience leading teams across multiple sites.
• Experience handling complex employee relations in a unionised environment.
• Strong knowledge of current employment legislation.
• Excellent organisation and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the HR strategy for the site.
• Design actions from the HR Roadmap focusing on recruitment, retention and motivation.
• Collaborate with site managers to address recruitment hotspots.
• Coach and advise the Site Senior Management Team on HR matters.
• Provide information and support on employment, benefits and welfare.
• Ensure learning and development is supported and training needs are met.
• Lead the HR team and monitor HR metrics for improvements.
• Advise on complex employee relations issues and document outcomes.
• Oversee data input to the HR Information System and reporting.
• Maintain high standards within the HR department and promote core values.
