Job summary

Transaction Recruitment is seeking a Financial Controller for our Worcester site. You will lead the finance team, own the P&L, balance sheet and cash flow, and act as a strategic partner to operations.

Based on site leadership, drive cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to group. You will champion internal controls and ERP improvements, ensuring accurate management accounts and business insights.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with manufacturing experience.
• Proven track record in financial control and reporting.
• Strong costing, inventory and variance analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and mentor the site finance team.
• Own the site's P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
• Oversee and grow the wider finance function.
• Support site leadership and act as a business partner to operations.
• Produce monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Deliver reporting to the wider group and manage budgeting.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity with reconciliations and audits.
• Drive internal controls, cash management and working capital.
• Oversee capital expenditure appraisal and cost-control initiatives.
• Develop site KPIs linking operational metrics to financial outcomes.
