Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Industrial Engineering Manager for the Stafford Manufacturing facility in the United Kingdom. The role provides technical and operational leadership to ensure equipment, tooling and infrastructure are safe, reliable and aligned with current and future production needs.

The successful candidate will lead development, installation and commissioning of manufacturing equipment, support capacity expansion, and drive improvement across reliability, quality and cost metrics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary technical teams.
• Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Industrial Engineering and Maintenance function to ensure safe, reliable, capable equipment and infrastructure meeting production requirements.
• Develop and execute equipment and infrastructure strategy aligned with production volumes and technology roadmap.
• Own maintenance strategy and drive reliability, availability and reduction of downtime.
• Establish and monitor KPIs such as equipment availability, downtime, MTBF/MTTR, maintenance compliance.
• Lead equipment improvements, refurbishments and upgrades for safety, quality, productivity, capacity and reliability.
• Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning and handover of new equipment and production systems.
• Coordinate external contractors and suppliers during maintenance and projects.
• Ensure readiness for new equipment including qualification, tooling, utilities, documentation and training.
• Develop capability of IE and Maintenance teams through coaching and standard work.
