Job summary

GE Vernova's Stafford Manufacturing facility seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead maintenance and equipment strategy, ensuring reliable, safe and capable production systems. You will manage installation, commissioning and upgrades of manufacturing equipment, while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver capacity and efficiency improvements.

The role requires strong leadership, CAPEX experience and a track record in TPM/RCM-style maintenance, with focus on reducing downtime

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
Demonstrated experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Engineering Management within manufacturing.
Proven experience in installing, commissioning, maintaining and improving manufacturing equipment.
Strong knowledge of preventive/predictive maintenance and structured problem solving.
Experience managing CAPEX and industrialisation projects from definition to handover.

Responsibilities

Lead Industrial Engineering and Maintenance to ensure safe, reliable, capable equipment and infrastructure meeting production needs.
Develop and execute strategy for equipment and infrastructure aligned with production volumes and capacity.
Own maintenance strategy to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Monitor equipment KPIs such as availability, downtime, MTBF, MTTR and compliance.
Identify and implement equipment improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.
Lead specification, procurement, installation, commissioning and acceptance of new equipment and systems.
Manage industrial projects from concept to handover to Operations, including CAPEX justification.
Ensure production readiness for new equipment including qualification, tooling, utilities and training.
Develop spare-parts strategy and risk mitigation for critical equipment.
Drive root-cause analysis for recurring failures and implement corrective actions.
Support capacity analysis and address constraints with technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with EHS, machinery safety and regulatory requirements.
