Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. in Stafford, United Kingdom seeks an Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the maintenance and industrial engineering function, ensuring safe, reliable and capable equipment and infrastructure.

You will drive the equipment strategy, manage CAPEX projects and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver ramp-up and industrialisation plans. You will own maintenance programs, develop KPI dashboards, and partner with Lean, Process Engineering and EHS to optimise throughput, safety

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent, or significant industrial experience.
Experience in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Maintenance Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
Proven experience managing installation, commissioning, maintenance and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance, reliability and root-cause analysis.
Experience managing CAPEX and industrialisation projects from definition to handover.
Experience with heavy industrial/manufacturing environments and working with production teams.

Responsibilities

Lead Industrial Engineering and Maintenance to ensure equipment and infrastructure are safe, reliable and available.
Develop and execute equipment/infrastructure strategy aligned with production volumes and business growth.
Own maintenance strategy to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
Establish and monitor equipment KPIs (availability, downtime, MTBF/MTTR, maintenance compliance).
Lead equipment improvements, refurbishments and upgrades for safety, quality and productivity.
Oversee procurement, installation, commissioning and handover of new equipment and systems.
Manage industrial projects from concept to operations handover with CAPEX justification.
Ensure readiness for new equipment including qualification, tooling, utilities, and training.
Develop spare-parts strategy and risk mitigation for critical equipment.
Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurrent issues.
Support capacity analysis and expansions with technical solutions.
Ensure compliance with EHS and machinery safety requirements.
Coordinate external contractors and equipment suppliers during maintenance activities.
Maintain equipment documentation and history.
