Job summary

Arabelle Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing and Methods Engineering Manager to own the manufacturing engineering function across Naval and Civil programmes at our Rugby site. You will lead welding coordination, capital deployment and the introduction of CAM, PLM and MES across existing and new facilities.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials or equivalent.
• Knowledge of welding coordination under 3834Pt2.
• APQP/PPAP core deliverables in regulated manufacturing.
• Ability to self-direct and lead through ambiguity.
• Eligibility to obtain SC-level security clearance (UK passport holder).

Responsibilities

• Own and deploy Manufacturing Engineering processes, standards and specifications.
• Manage Responsible Welding Coordinator and welding coordination duties.
• Establish and govern consumable control and weld traceability standards.
• Define in-process inspection requirements with Quality.
• Apply technical authority to changes and design-intent compliance.
• Lead NPI in APQP with project quality/design teams and run through gates.
• Deliver capability CAPEX aligned to business requirements.
• Lead CAM, CAPP and MES deployment across production.
• Plan Manufacturing Engineering resources and recruitment.
• Support revalidation and manufacture of turbine and generator components.
• Strengthen links between shop floor, Tendering, Project Management and Procurement.
• Maintain forward view for development, capacity, layout and new tech.
• Collaborate with CI/Productivity for sustainable process change.
