Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to lead the Manufacturing Engineering function at Lomondgate, Dumbarton. You will design and implement safe, efficient, repeatable manufacturing processes to drive operational excellence, reducing cost, improving quality and delivery through continuous improvement initiatives.

You will oversee end-to-end build cell layouts, tooling specifications, and handover, align the team with Production, NPI and Quality, and manage budgets, recruitment

Qualifications

• Proven production/manufacturing management track record under tight timescales.
• Six Sigma experience and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong leadership with commercial awareness and customer-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering function to deliver safe, efficient and repeatable processes.
• Own end-to-end build cell and shopfloor layouts, tooling specs and handover.
• Resource the team to support Production, NPI and Quality, removing constraints.
• Ensure current production documentation and establish performance metrics.
• Manage budgets, recruitment, training and personnel matters to build a high-performing team.
