Job summary

Mega Metal INC in the United Kingdom (Scotland) is seeking a Production Engineer to design, implement and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost control. You will lead process improvements across lines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to scale new products to mass production.

The role requires a solid foundation in Lean, Six Sigma, and RCA, plus hands-on experience with CAD, simulations, Excel, Python, SQL, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and RCA.
• Experience with CAD, simulations, and data analysis tools (Excel, Python, SQL).
• Familiarity with SAP software.
• Ability to communicate Technical steps clearly to operators.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workflows to eliminate bottlenecks, reduce waste, and boost productivity.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to diagnose equipment failures.
• Implement SOPs and statistical process controls to assure product quality.
• Determine machinery placement and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental protocols on the factory floor.
• Collaborate with product designers, supply chain vendors, and management to upscale new products.
