Job summary

Rolls-Royce Bristol is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Repair to provide technical support for MRO Repair Introduction and to develop and improve manufacturing processes. The role requires onsite work in Bristol and involves working to meet safety, quality, cost, delivery and lead time targets within the SQCD framework.

Key duties include ensuring HSE compliance, maintaining product safety, driving zero-defect initiatives, and supporting new machinery and continuous improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified engineer at minimum HND/foundation degree with MSc in Manufacturing Engineering.
• Accreditation such as UK IEng/CEng is preferred where available.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes relevant to the business.
• Awareness of Manufacturing Systems and enabling software tools.
• Knowledge of processes relevant to this role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health, Safety & Environmental standards compliance in processes.
• Ensure products and supplier parts meet specifications and safety issues are addressed.
• Drive zero-defect culture and improve Right First Time and cost of non-quality.
• Develop, validate, maintain and improve manufacturing processes and digital systems.
• Support new machine introduction and production improvement activities.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive best-practice manufacturing processes.
