Job summary

MCS Group partners with a leading Northern Ireland manufacturing client to recruit an experienced Engineering Manager. Based in a busy site, you will lead the engineering function, drive maintenance programs and deliver capital projects from scope through commissioning.

The ideal candidate will have years of senior maintenance or engineering experience within manufacturing, strong mechanical knowledge with electrical and automation exposure, and a proven track record of managing teams, budgets,

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in a senior maintenance or engineering role within manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical engineering knowledge with electrical and automation experience.
• Proven experience managing teams, budgets, contractors and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Engineering team.
• Manage preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
• Lead root cause analysis and continuous improvement activity.
• Manage engineering budgets, contractors and spare parts.
• Provide technical leadership across mechanical, electrical, PLC, SCADA and automation systems.
• Deliver engineering and capital projects from scope through to commissioning.
