Job summary

Altrad UK, Ireland & Nordics is seeking a Group Leader in Renfrew to lead the Manufacturing Engineering team, drive project delivery, governance, and continuous improvement across manufacturing services.

You will grow team capabilities, oversee resource allocation, and develop relationships with existing and new clients, ensuring safe, on-time, and on-budget outcomes aligned with BD strategy.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified in related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer status is advantageous but not essential.
• Proven experience managing a team and delivering strategic goals.
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience supporting proposals or growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Manufacturing Engineering team's operational activities.
• Monitor workload, project performance and opportunity development.
• Develop plans for growth of Manufacturing products to meet commitments.
• Grow and develop SQEP and provide coaching and mentoring.
• Provide manufacturing governance and control to projects.
• Oversee project management of Manufacturing Engineering led projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Prepare and review proposals, scopes, and cost estimates.
