Job summary

Ford & Stanley Group in Derby is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support engineering and workshop operations. You will capture repair and overhaul activities, develop work instructions and engineering packs to standardise processes and drive performance across the business.

The ideal candidate has a Mechanical Engineering degree, strong problem-solving skills and experience in MRO environments. You will collaborate with engineering, production and workshop teams to deliver high-quality

Qualifications

• BEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong mechanical engineering background with ability to understand complex processes.
• Experience in maintenance, repair and overhaul environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed work instructions, repair sequences and procedures to support maintenance and overhaul activities.
• Document and standardise repair processes with technicians and workshop teams.
• Produce and maintain engineering packs for overhaul/maintenance programmes.
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI) activities and new engineering programmes.
• Identify opportunities to improve workshop efficiency and product quality.
• Investigate technical issues and perform root-cause analysis with corrective actions.
