Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Llanelli. You will develop and improve manufacturing processes, support NPI, and ensure readiness for scale-up in a high-volume environment.

You will work within a collaborative team, focusing on cost, quality, and delivery objectives while aligning with Lean principles and continuous improvement initiatives. This permanent role offers stability and opportunities for career progression.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, validate and improve manufacturing processes for disassembly.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and OEM program launches from concept to production.
• Develop PFMEA, control plans, process flow diagrams, SOPs and work instructions.
• Establish process controls to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Develop CAPEX proposals for tooling, fixtures, equipment and facility improvements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes supporting disassembly.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and OEM program launches from concept through full production implementation.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA documents, control plans, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing standards.
• Establish process controls and manufacturing methods that ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
• Develop CAPEX proposals and business cases for tooling, fixtures, gauges, testing equipment, material handling systems, automation, and facility improvements.

Requirements

• Experience of manufacturing engineering experience within high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Experience supporting new product launches, process industrialization, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Experience developing PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
