Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer for a well-established manufacturing business in South West Wales. The role involves designing process flow diagrams, procuring equipment, supervising workshop construction, and managing projects from cradle to grave, often on-site with customers.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Project management experience from cradle to grave.
• Experience in process manufacturing and in specifying process equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Design process flow diagrams, defining instrumentation and control requirements.
• Source and procure fluid handling equipment and materials for plant construction.
• Supervise workshop-based plant construction and liaise with workshop personnel.
• Manage projects from inception to final acceptance, including design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning—often on-site with customers.
• Conduct risk assessments and safety-related studies.
• Prepare cost estimates for sales quotations, including fluid/thermo-dynamics calculations.

• Design process flow diagrams, defining instrumentation and control requirements.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
