Job summary

Vertiv, a leading electrical switchgear manufacturer in the UK & Ireland, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to optimize production, improve efficiency and ensure product quality. You will develop and maintain routings, perform time studies, document procedures, and drive lean manufacturing with cross-functional teams across engineering, operations and quality.

A Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of 3 years' manufacturing experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAM software and manufacturing simulation tools.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create and update detailed manufacturing routings aligned with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct time studies to determine process times and labor requirements.
• Maintain documentation of routings, work instructions and quality plans.
• Analyze and implement lean manufacturing improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and quality teams to meet project objectives.
