Job summary

VERTIV Co in Campsie, Northern Ireland, is seeking an Operations Manager to partner with senior leadership and deliver outstanding site performance. You will drive continuous improvement, manage budgets and forecast demand while shaping a high-performing, safety-conscious team on a multi-plant site.

You will lead change initiatives, develop talent, and ensure cost control, with a strong focus on implementing smarter working methods and KPI-driven performance.

Our Campsie factory specializes in the manufacturing of Vertiv PowerBoard low and medium voltage switchgear, serving critical infrastructure needs across data centers, industrial facilities, and commercial buildings and Vertiv Unify integrated platform software.

As the Operations Manager, you will act as a key senior leader, supporting the Plant Manager and Operations Director to deliver on customer needs while continuously improving performance across all operational areas. This is an opportunity to lead meaningful change, shape high-performing teams, and influence the future of site operations.

Role Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing processes and introduce smarter, more efficient ways of working
• Establish and monitor KPIs to ensure optimal process performance
• Lead and support critical business improvement projects

• Support organisational design and workforce planning aligned to business needs
• Provide expert input into corporate initiatives, policy reviews, and change programmes
• Promote employee engagement, motivation, and a people-first culture

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience within a manufacturing, production, or similar environment
• Strong track record of building and developing high-performing teams
• Experience leading change and delivering continuous improvement (Lean / Six Sigma desirable)
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills
• Ability to analyse processes and implement effective solutions
• Degree in Engineering, Operations, Business Management, or a related field (preferred)
• Equivalent industry experience will also be considered

This is an onsite role at our growing palnt in Campsie, Derry where you will be part of a team of 3 Operations Managers supporting the Plant Manager
