Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking an Industrialisation Engineer – Manufacturing to design, implement, and optimise manufacturing processes for power electronics used in HVDC projects. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to improve safety, quality and efficiency within a lean framework.

The role focuses on new product introduction, process change implementation and production readiness, with responsibilities spanning equipment development, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Strong communication across cross-functional teams and levels.
  • Experience applying lean and continuous improvement methods.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

  • Industrialise new products and changes into manufacturing processes.
  • Coordinate design, variants and process changes for production readiness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations and supply chain to meet NPI milestones.
  • Capture requirements to procure production and material handling equipment.
  • Develop build strategies with engineering teams and vendors.
  • Specify, design, install and commission production equipment.
  • Lead manufacturing projects from concept to completion, managing budgets and timelines.
  • Document and maintain manufacturing work instructions and risk assessments.
  • Support PFMEA and Design for Manufacture activities.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
