Job summary

Camlin Group in Lisburn, Northern Ireland, UK, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive manufacturing excellence across production. You will work with Engineering, Operations and Supply Chain to implement lean initiatives, introduce new products into production, and improve efficiency and quality.

The role focuses on process improvements, 3S/5S, and maintaining manufacturing documentation while supporting continuous improvement programs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• Experience in a technical manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting electromechanical assembly and test processes.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI).
• Strong problem-solving with root cause analysis and corrective action.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to improve manufacturing and efficiency.
• Drive best-in-class manufacturing practices across Health & Safety, Quality, and Operations.
• Support introduction of new products into manufacturing with DFM principles.
• Lead Lean, flow optimization, and 3S/5S initiatives across production.
• Develop and implement production layouts based on lean principles.
• Drive productivity, quality, and cost-reduction projects.
