Job summary

Camlin in Lisburn is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our site-based team. The role is full-time and supervisory, reporting to the Quality & HSE Manager, and involves close collaboration with Engineering, Operations and Suppliers to deliver world-class quality.

You will develop and maintain quality standards and controls, investigate issues, and lead problem-solving activities to improve processes and products.

Qualifications

• A3rd level qualification in an engineering discipline or 3 years QE experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Familiar with Health & Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing quality standards.
• Developing and implementing quality control systems.
• Monitoring and analysing quality performance.
• Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Collaborating with operations leaders to develop and implement controls and improvements.
• Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
• Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues.
• Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
• Reviewing certifications, specifications, and processes.
• Supporting Supplier Performance Evaluation, SCARs and supplier visits
• Lead 8D/Problem Solving activities
• NCR / Field returns & handling customer complaints
• Control of non conforming product and disposition
• Support Internal Audit process
