Snap Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Specs Operations Team. You will map manufacturing process flows, lead PFMEAs, and qualify equipment from concept to production, working with suppliers and contract manufacturers.

You’ll drive DFx/DFM, yield improvements, line balancing, and hands-on troubleshooting on internal fabs or partner facilities, collaborating across Design, Quality, Optical, Mechanical and Supply Chain to take hardware from concept to volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 1+ years in high-precision hardware or consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Ability to travel internationally/domestically up to 15% of time.

Responsabilités

• Map manufacturing process flows and lead PFMEAs to validate critical assembly processes.
• Specify and manage production equipment and tooling from concept through commissioning with suppliers.
• Lead equipment qualification and FAT/SAT/PAT, GR&R studies across internal fabs and partner facilities.
• Propose and deploy bespoke equipment, tooling, and automated fixtures to optimize assembly workflows.
• Act as interface for external contract manufacturers, driving DFM, yield improvements, and line balancing.
• Troubleshoot on production lines in internal fabs or partner sites in real time.
• Collaborate across Design, Quality, Optical, Mechanical and Supply Chain to take hardware from concept to volume manufacturing.
