Snap Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Specs Operations Team in bringing advanced eyewear manufacturing to volume production. You will map process flows, qualify equipment, and work with external partners to optimize assembly and ensure robust production standards.

The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving, DFx leadership, and close collaboration with Design, Quality, Optical, and Supply Chain teams to scale up production for Specs products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related technical field.
• 1+ years of relevant industry experience in high-precision hardware, consumer electronics, optics, or wearables.

Responsabilités

• Map out manufacturing process flows and lead PFMEA activities.
• Specify and manage production equipment development from concept to commissioning.
• Lead equipment qualification (FAT/SAT/PAT) and GR&R studies.
• Propose and deploy bespoke equipment and automated fixtures to optimize assembly.
• Act as a technical interface to contract manufacturers and support DFM, yield improvements, and NPI to mass production.
• Troubleshoot on the production line and collaborate across Design, Quality, Optical, Mechanical, and Supply Chain teams.
