Job summary

Snap Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Specs Operations Team. You will map process flows, qualify equipment, and drive DFM/yield improvements with internal fabs and external contract manufacturers.

The role requires hands-on shop floor expertise, PFMEA/DFMEA, Gage R&R, and collaboration across Design, Quality, Optical, Mechanical and Supply Chain to move hardware from concept to volume production.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
1+ years of experience in high-precision hardware, consumer electronics, optics, or wearables.
Experience with measurement systems and quality tools is required.

Responsibilities

Map manufacturing process flows and lead or participate in PFMEAs.
Specify and manage production equipment from concept to commissioning with suppliers.
Lead equipment qualification activities including FAT/SAT/PAT and GR&R studies.
Propose and deploy bespoke equipment, tooling, and fixtures to optimize assembly processes.
Act as interface with contract manufacturers and drive DFM, yield improvements, and root-cause troubleshooting.
Troubleshoot production issues on the line with cross-functional teams.
