Job summary

Owen Daniels in the Bristol area is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer on a contract basis to support manufacturing and workshop teams, review drawings and technical documentation, and help improve production processes.

The role is an initial 3–6 month contract with negotiable hourly or daily rates and options for inside or outside IR35. You will collaborate across Production, Quality and Engineering to deliver efficient manufacturing activities.

Qualifications

• Experience as Manufacturing Engineer, Production Engineer or similar.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or production environments.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement.
• Welding or fabrication experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Ability to work independently and provide effective engineering support.
