Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for an on-site, 12-month contract in Peterborough. You will own and deliver manufacturing engineering projects, support NPI activities, and drive continuous improvement across assembly and final assembly operations.

You will create PFMEAs, Control Plans and Standard Work, perform process capability studies, and investigate issues with root-cause analysis in collaboration with production, quality, design and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing and CI experience in a production/high-volume environment.
• Strong problem-solving and root-cause analysis capabilities.

Manufacturing Engineer

Peterborough (Commutable from: Stamford, Huntingdon, Cambridge, Ely, Spalding, Wisbech, Corby)

Are you a Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer or Production Engineer looking for a technically-challenging contract where you can take ownership of improvement projects in a world-class engineering environment?

On offer is a varied role combining project delivery, process engineering and hands-on shopfloor support across assembly and final assembly operations, where you will drive real change from concept through to implementation.

This well-established, high-volume engineering business is known for quality and continuous improvement. Due to continued demand and growth across their manufacturing operation, they are now looking to add two Manufacturing Engineers to support ongoing projects and new product introduction activity.

In this role you will deliver manufacturing engineering projects, support NPI/manufacturing readiness, and develop and improve processes. You will create and maintain PFMEAs, Control Plans and Standard Work, support validation builds and process capability studies, and investigate issues using structured root-cause analysis techniques, working closely with production, quality, design and suppliers.

This role would suit a Manufacturing Engineer with a lean/continuous improvement background, strong problem-solving skills and experience delivering projects in a production environment, looking for responsibility, variety and technically engaging work.
