Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our established engineering business in Bristol on a permanent, full-time basis. You will provide technical support across manufacturing operations, helping to improve production processes and resolve engineering challenges.

The role involves reviewing drawings and documentation, supporting fabrication and production activities, and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• Experience as Manufacturing Engineer or Production Engineer.
• Strong ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
• Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis and continuous improvement.
• Welding or fabrication experience would be advantageous but not essential.
• Ability to work independently and provide effective engineering support.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on engineering support to manufacturing and workshop teams.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Support manufacturing processes, fabrication and production activities.
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and support problem resolution.
• Prepare and review Bills of Materials (BOMs) and manufacturing documentation.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Procurement and Engineering departments.
• Support continuous improvement activities across manufacturing operations.
• Assist with engineering changes, manufacturing procedures and work instructions.
