Job summary

Enterprise Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to provide hands-on engineering support across manufacturing processes at a state-of-the-art facility in the United Kingdom. You will work with Engineering, Production, Quality and R&D teams to resolve production issues and drive improvements in quality, yield and overall capability.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
• Experience in manufacturing support with strong understanding of manufacturing processes.
• Experience in product fault finding, troubleshooting and testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills with ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Experience driving continuous improvement, yield improvements and scrap reduction.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or similar methodologies would be advantageous.
• Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Degree qualified in an appropriate Engineering or Science discipline, or equivalent technical qualifications and experience.
• Experience within high-tech manufacturing, particularly fibre lasers, fibre components or other industrial products, would be highly desirable

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day manufacturing engineering activities, diagnosing product and process issues and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement across yield, productivity, quality and scrap reduction, while supporting NPI, NVI and engineering change projects.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and R&D teams to enhance manufacturing capability.
