Job summary

Safran Nacelles is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to define and validate the manufacturing processes from engineering to production, ensuring HSE, quality, cost and delivery targets are met. You'll design processes with takt/flow, create SOPs and routes, and drive lean projects while coordinating with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

You will contribute to robust process design, participate in governance and problem solving (8D/ DMAIC), and support continuous improvement initiatives across

Qualifications

  • BEng or equivalent in a relevant discipline and the ability to work independently.
  • Experience applying DMAIC problem solving to manufacturing challenges.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Define manufacturing processes and ensure compliance with specifications and One Safran standards.
  • Design processes with takt/flow philosophy and ergonomic risk reduction.
  • Create SOPs, work instructions, QC points, inspection methods and approvals.
  • Develop routes, BOMs, layouts, tooling requests, data sheets and CAM/NC data.
  • Support suppliers and lead industrial product validation activities.
  • Lead lean projects and participate in governance, QRQC and 8D problem solving.
