Job summary

A leading aerospace manufacturer in Burnley is seeking an Entry Level Delivery Team Leader to join their reliability engineering team. The role involves performing routine maintenance on CNC and automation equipment while responding to machine issues. Candidates should have qualifications as a mechanical engineer and ideally be HNC accredited. Qualifications

• Time served mechanical engineer with basic electrical fundamentals.

• Provide reactive response to machine breakdowns and fault finding.
• Offer out-of-hours response on team rotation as needed.

What will I be doing?
Working as a member of the existing reliability engineering team, you will be required to perform routine planned preventive operations on site process equipment. This will be aligned to a pre planned maintenance schedule.

You will have the ability to offer reactive response to machine breakdowns and fault find and fix issues safely and within your capabilities.

You will have familiarity with the following:

• CNC machinery
• Automation

• Interpretation of machine drawings and hydraulic schematics

Shift Schedule

This is a Day Shift Position until April/May 2026. After that a Dayshift to backshift rotation will take place (4 Week Days then 4 Weeks Backs).

Day Shift = (Mon-Fri 7:30-16:00)
Back Shift = (Mon -Thu 15:00-23:30) (Fri 11:00-16:00)

There will be a need to offer out of hours response on team rotation, covering weeks days and weekend.

What do you need from me?

• Time served mechanical engineer
• HNC accredited is desirable
