Moog’s Manufacturing Engineer - CNC Machining role is based onsite in Tewkesbury, UK. You will develop and optimise manufacturing processes for complex aerospace components, with a focus on quality, cost and delivery, using CAD/CAM tools and lean methods.

The ideal candidate has machining and CAD/CAM experience and will contribute to NPI and DfM reviews while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in manufacturing or process engineering within a precision machining environment.
• 5 Axis Milling and/or Millturn background.
• CAD/CAM programming experience using Siemens NX, CATIA, Mastercam, Edgecam, FeatureCAM, PartMaker or similar systems.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement lean manufacturing processes focused on quality, cost and delivery.
• Create machining processes for complex components with tight tolerances using CAD/CAM software.
• Select cutting tools, design fixtures and produce shop documentation.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including Design for Manufacture (DfM) reviews.
• Lead and support process improvement projects, ensuring minimal downtime within the machine shop.
• Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and recommend design changes to enhance productivity and standardisation.
• Provide technical support to internal stakeholders and manufacturing operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain and Operations teams to achieve business objectives.
