Job Title: Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer

Gardner Denver, a leading provider of mission-critical flow control and compression equipment, is seeking an experienced Industrial/Manufacturing Engineer to join our Redditch assembly site. The role involves supporting existing production and leading new projects within our operations support department.

Responsibilities

• Define production processes for new products and change projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery of tooling, methods, and documentation in line with ISO9001/IATF 16949 standards.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process flows, picklists, and routings.
• Manage change processes, including ECNs and implementation.
• Represent the plant for product change requests.
• Create specifications and source production tooling and equipment.
• Design and modify assembly area layouts using CAD.
• Reorganize assembly lines for efficiency, including process timing and line balancing.
• Implement and maintain production control systems.
• Develop and oversee Control Plans and PFMEAs.
• Source test equipment meeting engineering specifications.
• Analyze product designs to optimize assembly processes.
• Identify productivity improvements and lead related activities.
• Support resolution of production issues.

Qualifications and Skills

• Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or extensive relevant experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred.

Travel & Work Arrangements

Primarily site-based with some travel within the UK and Europe.
