TipTopJob in Llanelli is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to develop and improve high-volume production processes, with emphasis on disassembly support and new product introductions. You will create PFMEA, control plans and process documentation, ensuring safety, quality and cost objectives are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, validate, and improve manufacturing processes supporting disassembly.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and OEM program launches from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain PFMEA, control plans, work instructions, SOPs, and manufacturing standards.
• Establish process controls and manufacturing methods to meet safety, quality, delivery and cost goals.
• Develop CAPEX proposals and business cases for tooling, fixtures, gauges, testing equipment, material handling, automation and facility improvements.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, validate, and continuously improve manufacturing processes supporting disassembly.
• Support new product introductions, engineering changes, and OEM program launches from concept through full production implementation.
• Develop and maintain process flow diagrams, PFMEA documents, control plans, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing standards.
• Establish process controls and manufacturing methods that ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved.
• Develop CAPEX proposals and business cases for tooling, fixtures, gauges, testing equipment, material handling systems, automation, and facility improvements.

Requirements

• Experience of manufacturing engineering experience within high-volume manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated experience developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Experience supporting new product launches, process industrialization, and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Experience developing PFMEA, Control Plans, Process Flow Diagrams, Standard Operating Procedures, and Work Instructions.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience leading root cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
