Carbon60 is seeking a talented Manufacturing Engineer to join their dynamic Client in Belfast, UK. Our client is a large aircraft manufacturing company and are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join them on a contractual basis until the end of November 2026.

As a Manufacturing Engineer for this company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the technical needs of the production team. Your responsibilities will include providing support for technical issues, involving support functions in continuous improvement routines, and executing robust, reliable, and safe operations. You will also be responsible for analysing and optimising existing manufacturing systems, defining components and parts for new jigs and tools, and developing and deploying capability on new product introductions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support for technical issues and continuous improvement
  • Involve support functions in the continuous improvement routines of the production team
  • Support capacity management and design consultation
  • Analyse and optimise existing manufacturing systems
  • Define components and parts for new jigs and tools
  • Develop and deploy capability on new product introductions

Required Qualifications
  • Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or similar field), or equivalent HND, HNC, or NVQ qualification in Engineering

  • Knowledge of industrial processes and standards within the aerospace industry
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and change in complex manufacturing environments
