Job summary

Xometry is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Engineering Advisor to join the Customer Success team in the United Kingdom. You will ensure manufacturability of designs and a smooth production transition while supporting large deals and strategic customers.

Your role involves DFM reviews, design optimization, and close collaboration with providers to resolve manufacturability challenges. Hybrid working is available in Chelmsford, with RSUs in addition to salary.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CNC machining and sheet metal manufacturing.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Understanding of dimensional accuracy and surface roughness.
• Able to identify technical risks and propose manufacturing solutions.
• Fluent professional English communication.
• Customer-focused mindset and problem-solving emphasis.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine DFM reviews for high-end orders and analyze part designs for manufacturability.
• Communicate design and production issues with customers via phone, video, and email to resolve problems.
• Support large deals and build trusted relationships with key customers.
• Collaborate with providers to resolve manufacturability challenges and travel if needed.
• Provide expertise in complaint handling and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
• Work with Sourcing Engineering during provider search to identify suitable providers and support process improvements.
