Job summary

Technical Placements Ltd seeks an experienced Manufacturing Development Team Leader to join a global packaging and recycling manufacturing business during a major site expansion. Permanent role, Monday–Friday, 8:00–16:30 with unpaid 30-min break.

Excellent benefits and a chance to lead critical process improvements. Ideal candidate will have a chemical engineering degree, strong leadership background in process industries, COSHH knowledge, and strong data interpretation and problem-solving

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing/process industries is required.
• Strong analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret process, production and quality data.
• Previous people-management or team-leadership experience.
• COSHH knowledge and environment/health & safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and develop the Manufacturing Development team.
• Promote a strong safety culture and drive HSE improvements.
• Monitor and optimise chemical usage, process efficiency and costs.
• Oversee water treatment processes and environmental compliance.
• Lead product development, feasibility studies and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Projects teams on improvements.
