Job summary

Orion Electrotech is seeking an Engineering Team Leader to manage a multi-skilled maintenance team in a fast-growing manufacturing environment. This role blends hands-on leadership with data-driven decision making to improve maintenance performance and CMMS utilisation.

You will coach engineers, drive root cause investigations and help shape SOPs and training plans while supporting hands-on maintenance when required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Engineering Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Engineer.
• Strong CMMS and maintenance planning experience.
• Experience within FMCG, food, pharmaceutical, cosmetics or GMP manufacturing.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proven experience improving performance through data and process improvement.
• Engineering qualification such as NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of multi-skilled engineers
• Champion CMMS best practice and data accuracy
• Drive PPM compliance and maintenance performance
• Lead fault finding and root cause analysis activities
• Create and improve SOPs, processes and training plans
• Support engineers with hands-on maintenance when required
