Job summary

GEM Partnership is seeking an experienced Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver high quality programmes to learners within the manufacturing sector. You will work with apprentices and employers to deliver impactful learning that supports career progression, operational excellence and business growth.

As an Apprenticeship Trainer, you will deliver, coach and assess apprentices working towards End Point Assessment, embedding real-life business improvement methodologies such as Lean, Kaizen and Six

Qualifications

• Experience delivering engaging classroom sessions in a manufacturing context.
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging, interactive sessions with coaching and progress reviews.
• Experience embedding Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma and problem solving in training.
• Familiarity with End Point Assessment (EPA) processes and standards.
• Knowledge of Ofsted EIF framework and CEIAG in learner progression.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, interactive sessions with coaching and mentoring and regular progress reviews.
• Create innovative learning experiences that bring leadership and continuous improvement concepts to life.
• Support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviors required by apprenticeship standards.
• Embed Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma and problem solving techniques in training activities.
• Identify and respond to barriers to learning and implement reasonable adjustments where appropriate.
• Build positive relationships with learners and provide ongoing support throughout their programme.
• Prepare learners for End Point Assessment (EPA).
• Engage with employers to align apprenticeships with organisational objectives.
