Job summary

GEM Partnership is seeking an Apprenticeship Trainer to deliver high-quality programmes for learners in the manufacturing sector. You will lead engaging sessions, coach apprentices and partner with employers to drive progression and operational excellence.

You will embed real-life business improvement methods such as Lean, Kaizen and Six Sigma, support learners through progress reviews and assessments, and ensure safeguarding and compliance throughout delivery.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing sector experience is essential.
• Proven ability to deliver engaging classroom sessions.
• Understanding of assessment specifications and multiple assessment methods.
• Commitment to learner development and outcomes.
• Familiarity with CEIAG activities and safeguarding expectations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging sessions and provide coaching and progress reviews.
• Create practical learning experiences that illustrate leadership and continuous improvement concepts.
• Support apprentices to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours aligned to apprenticeship standards.
• Embed Lean, Kaizen, Six Sigma and problem-solving approaches in delivery.
• Identify barriers to learning and arrange reasonable adjustments as needed.
• Maintain learner records and comply with safeguarding and GDPR requirements.
