Job summary

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is recruiting a Manual Machinist / Toolroom Machinist in Worcester. The role focuses on producing accurate components using conventional machining equipment, reading engineering drawings and maintaining tight tolerances.

Permanent, full-time, four-day week with early starts (6:30am–4:30pm). The ideal candidate has strong experience in manual lathes, mills, drills, and a solid background in traditional toolroom machining.

Qualifications

• Experience operating conventional/manual machining equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Strong attention to tolerances and precision measurement.

Responsibilities

• Operate manual lathes, milling machines, drills, grinders and related equipment.
• Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Maintain tolerances and surface finishes as specified.
• Plan machining sequences and select tooling, speeds and feeds.
• Inspect own work and ensure components meet specifications.
