Are you an experienced Manual Machinist or Toolroom Machinist with a strong background in traditional machining?
We are recruiting on behalf of an established engineering and manufacturing business in Worcester that is looking for a technically minded machinist to join its production team.
We are particularly interested in candidates who have come from a traditional toolroom, manual machining, precision engineering or general engineering environment and are confident working with manual lathes, mills, drills and associated workshop machinery.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machinist who enjoys being given an engineering drawing or requirement, working out the best way to manufacture the component and using their own experience and initiative to get the job done.
As Manual Machinist / Toolroom Machinist, you will be responsible for producing accurate components using a range of conventional machining equipment.
We are particularly keen to speak with candidates who have previous experience as a:
Manual Machinist | Toolroom Machinist | Toolmaker | Manual Turner | Manual Miller | Centre Lathe Turner | Conventional Machinist | Precision Machinist | Toolroom Engineer
Some CNC knowledge or experience would be beneficial, but this vacancy is primarily focused on traditional/manual machining skills rather than CNC production machining.
This is a permanent opportunity with an established and growing engineering business that places a strong emphasis on quality.
You’ll be joining a supportive manufacturing environment where your experience, technical knowledge and ability to solve problems will be genuinely valued.
