Job description

Manual Machinist – Machine Shop

Location: Ramsgate, Kent

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Working Hours: 08:00 – 16:30, Monday to Thursday; 15:30 finish on Fridays

Salary and Shift Details

Competitive salary (details provided upon application), with overtime at 1.5x on Saturdays and 2x on Sundays. Late shift opportunity: 14:15 - 00:30, offering an additional 1/3 salary.

Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in machine shop operations, including precision grinding, honing, boring, milling, turning, CNC turning, and bush/bearing fitting.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills (minimum GCSE level).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and adhere to health and safety regulations.
  • Strong analytical skills, both written and verbal.
  • Well-organized and self-motivated.
