Manual Machinist

£35,000 (£17.25 per hour) + overtime at 1.5, Bonus, permanent, Bristol BS2, 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday, 25 days holiday + bank holidays, Pension, sick scheme.

Our client is a successful and established precision engineering company with a small but friendly team of engineers. They are looking for a skilled manual machinist, milling machinist, or lathe machinist.

Responsibilities:

• Manual machining of parts
• Operating manual lathe
• Managing your own workload with jobs allocated from the engineering supervisor
• Working independently on assigned tasks

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate will have completed an engineering apprenticeship as a skilled machinist. However, experienced machinists who are able to demonstrate a strong track record in manual machining are also encouraged to apply.

The successful candidate will have experience working in precision engineering, producing small batches and one-offs to fine tolerances.
