Job summary

The Sofidel Group is recruiting for a daytime PPT operator in Leicester, UK. You will load finished goods, inspect loads for safety, and report any damage while collaborating with Day Services and Shift teams.

The role requires a current PPT licence, practical forklift experience, and strong health and safety awareness. A team-focused, punctual, and flexible approach is essential, with a commitment to safe manual handling.

Qualifications

Has a current and valid PPT licence.
Has practical experience driving and manoeuvring a PPT in a busy environment.
Demonstrates strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively.
Is dependable, punctual, and flexible with shift patterns.
Can manage manual handling duties safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment.
Check load is safe and secure.
Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies.
Work closely with Day Services and Shift teams.
Carry out other reasonable requests and support colleagues as needed.
Ensure a high level of housekeeping and adherence to safety rules.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Load finished goods using manual material handling equipment
Check load is safe and secure
Identify and report any product damage or quality deficiencies
Work closely and in cooperation with the rest of the Day Services and Shift teams
Carry out any other reasonable request and support the colleagues in case of need
To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift
To ensure health & safety rules are adhered to
