Job summary

Harding+ is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking Retail Manager to lead onboard retail teams and drive sales performance. You will oversee guest interactions, mentor staff, and ensure exceptional service while achieving profit targets.

The role requires strong leadership, luxury retail experience, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests at sea. Accommodation and meals on board are provided, with a contract-based at-sea schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience as Retail Manager or Assistant Manager, ideally at sea.
• Fluent in Mandarin with confident guest/colleague communication.
• Proven ability to lead a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
• Excellent face-to-face customer service and sales skills.
• Public speaking and showcasing luxury items.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in creating an exceptional and memorable onboard retail experience for guests.
• Inspire the team to deliver sales and profit targets while maintaining high service standards.
• Set an example as a leader and role model for the crew.
• Identify and deliver training requirements within the team.
• Own your client base with outreach for events such as private sale and product knowledge.
• Maintain high standards on shop floor and in back-office operations.
