Job summary

People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン is seeking a Mandarinspeaking IT Operations Manager (Banking) to oversee London branch IT functions, focusing on operations, maintenance, security and infrastructure. This permanent role requires fluency in Mandarin and English and a degree in computing or engineering.

You will report to the Head of IT, manage changes and incidents, support disaster recovery, coordinate with vendors, and help drive digitalization projects in Central London.

Qualifications

• Mandarin and English fluency required, with a relevant degree.
• Experience in IT operations, maintenance, and security.
• Strong ability to solve problems independently during incidents.
• Desirable project management experience and cybersecurity awareness.
• Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure and networks.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations and maintenance for London branch.

• AssistHeadofITinmanagingtheLondonBranch’sITfunctions,withaparticularfocusonIToperationsandmaintenance.PrimarilyresponsibleforITinfrastructure,systemandnetworkoperationsandmaintenance,productionoperationsmanagement,andrelatedinformationsecurityactivities,ensuringthesecure,stable,andefficientoperationoftheBranch’sITenvironment..
• Managetheday-to-dayoperationandmaintenanceoftheBranch’sITinfrastructure.
• Managenetworkandcoresystemoperationsandmaintenance.
• ImplementHO’sIToperationsandmaintenancemanagementrequirements.
• ManageITchanges,incidents,andproblems.
• Participateindisasterrecovery,emergencyresponse,andbusinesscontinuitymanagement.
• SupportLondonBranchemployeeswithITrequirementstoensuretheyhavetherighttechnologyandsupportfortheirday-to-daywork.

ITOperationsManager-Theskillsyouneedtosucceed:

• FluentinbothMandarinandEnglish.
• Degreeholderaminimumrequirement;withmajorinComputingand/orEngineeringrelatedfields.
• SolidworkexperienceinIToperations,maintenance,andsecurity,withagoodunderstandingofenterprise-levelITinfrastructureandnetworkenvironments.
• Independentproblemsolvingability,withtheabilitytoindependentlyresolvecommonissuesrelatingtoservers,networks,endpoints,andassociatedinfrastructure,aswellasquicklyidentifyrootcauses,coordinateresources,anddriveissueresolutionduringmajorincidentsoremergencies.
• Keentolearnnewskillsandtechnology.
• Preferablewithprojectmanagementexperience.
• KnowledgeandexperienceonInformationSecurityandCybersecuritywillbeabonus.
