Job summary

The Enquire Learning Trust is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for Manchester Road Primary Academy in Droylsden. The successful candidate will join the premises team and rotate cleaning duties across all school buildings, reporting to the Academy Business Manager and Site Manager.

Working hours are term-time only, with additional holidaywork weeks and a pension scheme available. This role requires teamwork and reliability. DBS checks apply.

Qualifications

• Experience as a site cleaner in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean across all three buildings within school on a rotational basis.
• Report to the Academy Business Manager and Site Manager.
• Work Monday to Friday during term time with additional holiday weeks as arranged.

Manchester Road Primary Academy is a friendly, happy, 2 form entry Primary School in Droylsden with 2 main buildings and 1 prefab building. The successful candidate would be joining a staff team with a mix of skills and experience, which values flexibility and teamwork.

About the role

Manchester Road Primary Academy requires a site cleaner to work within our premises team, to commence work as soon as possible. You will be responsible to the Academy Business Manager and Site Manager and be required to work across all three buildings within school on a rotational basis. We would ask that applicants are team players and have a good understanding of the role of a site cleaner within a school setting.

Working arrangements

Monday to Friday 6.00am to 8.30 am or 3.30 pm to 6.00 pm during term time and 30 extra days in total during the school holidays

During school holidays the times may vary but are arranged in advance of weeks worked.
