Job summary

Danesholme Infant Academy in Corby is seeking a reliable Cleaner to join our site team after school hours, Monday to Friday 3:30pm–5:30pm, to help maintain a clean, safe environment for pupils, staff and visitors.

You will clean toilets, offices and communal areas, with duties including vacuuming, mopping and waste disposal, while upholding health and safety standards. Experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

Job description

Danesholme Infant Academy is seeking to appoint a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join our dedicated site team. Working hours are Monday - Friday 3:30pm-5:30pm. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our students, staff and visitors.

You will be responsible for carrying out a range of cleaning duties across the school site to a high standard. This includes toilets, corridors, offices and communal areas, ensuring the academy remains a positive learning environment for all.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning toilets, offices and shared spaces
• Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
• Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety standards

We are looking for someone who:

• Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
• Has a strong attention to detail
• Can work both independently and as part of a team
• Has a positive and flexible approach
• Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential
