STS Aviation Services is seeking experienced B1 Aircraft Mechanics for contract opportunities in Manchester, United Kingdom, starting September 2026. This role supports scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on large commercial aircraft in a live hangar environment.

Applicants must have at least 3 years of aircraft experience, current UK work authorisation, and a valid DBS or ability to obtain one, plus strong knowledge of aircraft systems and excellent communication and organisational skills.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years’ aircraft experience performing repairs, overhaul and maintenance on large commercial aircraft.
• Applicants must have current authorisation to work in the United Kingdom for any employer.
• All applicants must have a valid DBS or the ability to obtain one.
• Previous live aircraft mechanical experience.
• Good knowledge of aircraft systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Maintenance, repair and overhaul of customer aircraft to include all forms of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
• Follow both STS and customer-specific interface processes, recording all maintenance activity performed and ensuring all man-hour bookings are accurate and timely.
• Execute the highest levels of maintenance standards and ensure aircraft maintenance activity is performed in a timely and efficient manner to the customer’s full satisfaction.
• Maintain the highest standard of safety and cleanliness, complying with all company procedures and policies.
• Fully comply with the minimum requirements for Health & Safety in the workplace and COSHH regulations.
